Reflection Week 14

Self evaluation
Yesterday was the last day of Micro Teaching class done in formal way. Yet, it is not the last day of teaching as a job for us, the candidate of future English teachers in this country or wherever the life leads us. The same way treats me: Teaching English as my call and job is still part of my life in the years to come.

The most things I learned yesterday:
It was great to have Efri, Erika, and Sesi teach us in the Teaching Practice Class. Each of them wonderfully performed in the ways should be done. They taught u listening, writing and reading respectively. The most things I learned from them are: * To make a good preparation far before performance. I noticed that, as the materials they are supposed to teach were new, they did make serious consultation with friends and written sources: internet and books. * To be creative in constructing teaching materials. Three of them are really creative,   so the teaching was done in a so great way and attractive in many ways. , an English teacher may not forget to make some stimuli. * To use understandable terms in English. As it was a teaching for students in vocational school, each of them use English terms which are limited to the student`s educational world / field.

Reflection Week 13

Learning from others is great part in building oneself teaching skills. It was great that as other friends, Christine, Wilda, Ega, Rendy, Bayu, and Okta had very good performance in teaching last 8th and 9th May 2012. Respectively, they taught us writing, listening, and speaking.

The most things I learned on last Tuesday and Wednesday: * To make a teaching process attractive in many ways, an English teacher may not forget to make some stimuli. * As it was a teaching for junior high school, an English teacher may not use high expression words. Teacher should use simple words. It is only because students (the young learners) are the central part in learning process.

Reflection Week 12

It was, on May 1st 2012, my turn to teach junior high school. I felt much better that the first one. My friends also admitted that. My performance was good and I could finish my teaching materials on time.

The most things I learned on last Tuesday and Wednesday
-     Preparation. The better preparation the more confident I am when teaching my students.
-     The better preparation the better input my students get.
-     The better preparation the faster the teaching flows.

Things I have achieved
-     Good and serious preparation.

Reflection Week 11

Self evaluation
Good self preparation is the base for a person does his/her best to achieve success. What I mean with this statement is found in three of my friends` last week teaching performance. Sari, Nindi, and Maris looked confident when delivering their knowledge to senior high school students. Since they had prepared their teaching materials they could fluently and clearly explain that made the students easily understood.

Thing I learned last week
One thing I learned on last Tuesday was giving enough time to myself to prepare a good lesson plan. In such a course time I can deepen and master teaching material before delivering to students in a good sharing mode.
